Welcome to Tannahill Intermediate, established in 1998, where approximately 950 eager students pave their way to becoming proud Brewer Bear graduates! Our fifth and sixth grade community is more than a school; it's a family. At Tannahill, we instill values, foster GRIT (Gumption, Resilience, Integrity, and Tenacity), and guide students to embrace the Brewer Bear spirit.

Beyond our challenging academic curriculum, students engage in daily physical education and explore various extracurricular classes such as art, band, leadership, and music. Diverse clubs and programs ensure every student finds his/her perfect fit. Our commitment to excellence and the growth mindset drives our educational approach.

Tannahill students earn points for Resiliency throughout the day, leading to a weekly celebration with a lively "GRIT Grab" for top point earners. Every nine weeks, we honor outstanding GRIT behavior with an unforgettable GRIT Celebration Day!

Starting the 2024-25 school year, Tannahill will exclusively serve sixth grade students as part of the grade realignment following the 2022 bond program. Fifth graders will transition to the elementary school in their respective attendance zones.

In 2024-25, all sixth graders will attend 6th Grade Exploration Wheel to expose students to the Career and Technical Education classes that are available at the middle and high school levels.
